Are Paleolithic Foods Fiber Foods?
1 Jul

Some people are curious as to whether or not paleolithic foods are high in fiber. The desire to have a diet rich in dietary fiber has become increasingly popular, especially among the older generation.
One of the greatest sources of fiber are the legumes, nuts, and seeds, all of which are part of the paleo diet. Of course beans are your most significant source of fiber, led by split peas, lentils, black beans, and lima beans. Some vegetables, like artichokes and peas, are very high in fiber and even some fruits like raspberries.
Grains, many of which are not permitted on the diet, are also a good source of protein , but much less protein than the foods mentioned above.
